Clients served

Across the CoC, service providers offer a variety of interventions to clients based on federal eligibility criteria and client needs. The goal of each intervention is to connect a client to the best possible circumstances the community has to offer and eventually into a permanent and stable housing position.

This page reflects numbers that update in real-time for the most complete month (i.e. every 1st of the month, it updates automatically with the previous month’s numbers). Coming soon, we’ll also be adding month-over-month numbers!

Street Outreach

Street Outreach refers to programs that actively support clients who are living in places not meant for habitation or at an emergency shelter. Through ongoing contact and engagement, these clients are more readily connected to any services or housing solutions they may be eligible to receive.

Rapid Re-Housing

RRH is an intervention designed to help individuals and families that don’t need intensive and ongoing support to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing. Rapid re-housing assistance is offered without preconditions — like employment, income, absence of a criminal record, or sobriety — and the resources and services provided are tailored to the unique needs of the household. Eligible clients can receive RRH assistance for up to two years.

Permanent Supportive Housing

PSH is an intervention that combines affordable housing assistance with voluntary support services to address the needs of chronically homeless people. The services are designed to build independent living and tenancy skills and connect people with community-based health care, treatment, and employment services. Generally, there is no time limit placed on how long an eligible client may retain PSH.

Homeless Prevention

In some cases, such as with Homeless Prevention, the goal is to help clients retain their current housing and to stop them from entering the community’s homeless response system. Typically, clients served by HP programs indicate the clients who have been able to successfully remain in their current housing situation.
